CHDC COVID-19 Update

Dear Colleagues, Patients, and Friends,
At this time until further notice, Community Health & Dental Care (CHDC) has temporarily closed its Coventry Mall and 802 Heritage Drive locations due to COVID-19. CHDC will keep 700 Heritage location open for limited OB services. The decision made was a precautionary measure to reduce the spread of COVID-19 to our staff and patients.

CHDC will be providing telephone care visits at this time for medical acute visits, dental triage and behavioral health support for our patients to manage their care. In a few weeks, we will be set up to provide telehealth visits with video capabilities for our patients.

CHDC does not have testing kits for the community and our PPE supplies are very low. A lot of our staff were set up to work from home to keep major business matters in place as well as our Providers being able to work remotely to provide care to our patients.

We do not know when we will be able to re-open as the COVID-19 continues to spread and is predicted to get worse. Our decision to close was made to keep our staff and patients safe in this pandemic. We will still have staff answering calls and triaging patients to help reduced unnecessary ER visits.

I would like to take this time to thank all of you for your services you continue to provide to our community and to continue working together as we will overcome this world-wide pandemic together.
