Medicare Open Enrollment is here, and it’s an important time for seniors and other eligible individuals to review their Medicare coverage. With seemingly endless options and complex terms, it can feel overwhelming to choose the right plan. That’s where CHDC comes in! Open Enrollment occurs annually from October 15th to December 7th. During this time, individuals can make changes to their Medicare coverage, including:
- Switching from Original Medicare to a Medicare Advantage Plan (or vice versa)
- Changing from one Medicare Advantage Plan to another
- Adding, dropping, or changing Medicare Part D (prescription drug coverage)
These changes will take effect on January 1st, 2025, making it important to start thinking about your coverage sooner rather than later. Even if you’re happy with your current plan, it’s a good idea to review your options during Open Enrollment. Plans can change their benefits, premiums, or provider networks from year to year, which might impact your access to care or out-of-pocket costs. Updating your plan based can ensure you’re getting the most out of your Medicare.

With Medicare Part B, you can schedule a wellness visit at CHDC once a year at no cost to you. When you visit our office for your annual wellness visit, our Case Management team will meet with you to see if you qualify for additional savings. Qualified participants may be eligible for:
