National Health Center Week 2023 - Celebrate With Us!
National Health Center Week (August 6– 12) is an annual celebration with the goal of raising awareness about the mission and accomplishments of America’s health centers over the past five decades. We’re honoring our public servants, patients, employees and consumer board members in special ways throughout the week. You're invited to join us in recognizing and celebrating Community Health & Dental Care and all the work that goes in to providing accessible, high-quality healthcare to the tricounty area. We hope to see you there!
All week, we’ll have virtual and in person events, health screenings, information on our programs and services, raffles, fun activities for kids, refreshments and a whole lot more! We will have events for stakeholders, staff, patients, and community members throughout the week.
Community Health Fair
People of all ages are invited to join CHDC and over 30 community partner organizations and agencies for a fun-filled afternoon with health information, a diverse array of community resources, giveaways, activities for kids and adults, refreshments, FREE health screenings for blood pressure, backpack giveaways and more!
Backpack Giveaway: 100 backpacks filled with back-to-school supplies will be offered to any student under age 18 who needs a backpack to start the school year. Be sure to stop by early if you need a backpack!

July 31 - August 11 @ All Locations | Open to: CommunityHealthcare for the Homeless: From July 31 - August 11, join CHDC staff and patients in a donation drive to benefit the Street Medicine Program. All donated items will be collected and given to our Street Medicine Team to distribute to unhoused individuals in our area. Click HERE to download the flyer and get involved! 2:00PM - 4:30PM @ Coventry Mall Office | Open to: CHDC Staff & CommunityAgricultural Worker Health Day: We are putting our own spin on this day by getting out in the community, learning about our neighborhood gardens, and giving the gardens some TLC. CHDC Staff and Board members will be volunteering with Mosaic Community Gardens, right here in Pottstown.Later on, stop by the Fresh2You Mobile Market in the parking lot of our Coventry Mall Office, we will have a table set up with CHDC information. Get your fresh produce and a CHDC tote bag!

All Day @ Virtual | Open to: CommunityStaff Appreciation Day: Healthcare Heroes coloring graphics will be available to all week at all offices for children to decorate and hang up at our mall location. Bring completed coloring pages to our office to have them hung up in support of our healthcare heroes at CHDC!Patient Appreciation Day: We celebrated Patient Appreciation Day with a tribute video to our patients. Every day, we are so grateful to those who choose CHDC as their healthcare home. So often, we are inspired by the people who walk through our doors, and feel lucky to be a trusted healthcare provider to our community. We are here to help patients achieve health in all areas of life, which is why we offer medical, dental, vision, physical therapy, behavioral health, and more!
