Celebrate With CHDC for National Health Center Week!
National Health Center Week (August 3 – 9) is an annual celebration with the goal of raising awareness about the mission and accomplishments of America’s health centers over the past five decades. We’re honoring our public servants, patients, employees and consumer board members in special ways throughout the week. You're invited to join us in recognizing and celebrating CHDC and all the work that goes in to providing accessible, high-quality healthcare to the tricounty area. We hope to see you there! We'll be hosting events for stakeholders, staff, patients, and community members - you won't want to miss this!
Annual Community Health Fair - You're Invited!
Mark your calendar for the annual Community Health Fair at CHDC on Friday, August 8th. This free event brings together CHDC staff, community resources, giveaways, and lots of fun! We'll have snacks, face painting, activities for kids, health screenings, information tables, free backpacks for students, and more. We will be continuing our tradition of handing out 120 backpacks stocked with school supplies to children under the age of 18. Be sure to stop by early and please note that students must be present at the event to receive a backpack.

All Day @ All CHDC Locations | Open to: CommunityDonation Drive: We are collecting items to benefit the Street Medicine Program, which works to provide primary and urgent care to those experiencing homelessness in Pottstown Borough wherever they reside- whether that be a tent in the woods, a homeless shelter, or on the street. Items can be dropped off at the front desk of any CHDC location during open hours. Click HERE for a list of requested items.
Wednesday, August 6th
9:00AM - 11:00AM @ Pottstown Children's Discovery Center | Open to: CHDC Staff OnlyStaff Volunteer Event: Our staff will be continuing our tradition of volunteering at a local nonprofit during National Health Center Week! This year, our team will lend our time to the Pottstown Children's Discovery Center, a local children's museum with various exhibits designed to inspire a love of learning.

8:30AM - 10:30AM @ CHDC Barto Office | Open to: CommunityFuel for School Event: We’re inviting students (K-12) and their parents / guardians to Fuel for School at our Barto Breakfast Event! Enjoy a light breakfast, giveaways, pediatric healthcare information, and a FREE backpack* for school-age students.
