National Health Center Week 2026

Celebrate with CHDC for National Health Center Week!

Every August, the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) sponsors National Health Center Week (NHCW) to celebrate and increase awareness of America’s 1,512 Community Health Centers (CHCs) like CHDC. NHCW is an opportunity to highlight the commitment and passion of CHC patients, staff, board members, and supporters who make it possible to provide quality, comprehensive healthcare services to 52 million patients across more than 17,000 communities.

This year’s theme is “Building Innovative Care Where It Matters Most”. Let's celebrate how CHCs use creativity and commitment to advance innovative solutions that meet patients where they are and improve primary care delivery, access, and outcomes nationwide.

On Population Focus day, CHDC staff will also be volunteering with The Open Link to assemble meal kits for 150 children in the Upper Perkiomen Valley region. Each summer, families in our community struggle to feed their children because kids are no longer receiving free or reduced lunch once school is out. That’s why The Open Link started the free Summer Kids Meals Program (SKMP).

  • Friday, August 7 - Partner Appreciation Day

CHDC’s Annual Backpack Giveaway on Friday, August 7th from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Boyertown Community Library
