Our Commitment to Safety

We wanted to connect with each of you regarding the current status of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). It is having an increased impact on our community and we feel the importance to share with you the steps and measures we are taking to keep our patients, employees and the community healthy and safe.

Infection control and cleanliness have always been a top priority at Community Health & Dental Care. We use universal precautions when dealing with all patients.  This means treating all body fluids as if they are infectious and taking the proper precautions with personal protective equipment according to CDC guidelines. Our offices and health centers are cleaned and sanitized throughout the day, and we have increased that frequency to hourly with the present situation. Hand sanitizer is positioned throughout the office as well as anti-bacterial soap by every sink.

We have instructed our employees on how to stay healthy and to stay home if not feeling well. We ask the same of our patients. We are also offering telemedicine appointments during this time. If you have been exposed to COVID-19, traveled outside the United States and display symptoms of the virus, please call our office for advice.  We will continue to monitor the situation. Our decisions will be based on guidance from the CDC as well as local and federal government and public health agencies.

As we have prepared for the Coronavirus with preventive and proactive protocols, we feel confident that our offices are safe and will remain open at this time. We hope the current environment begins to resolve quickly, but every effort will be made to keep us all healthy.

We will maintain thorough communication and will keep you informed of any new recommendations.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who have been affected by COVID-19.

Thank you for your loyalty to Community Health & Dental Care.

Keeping Our Patients Safe

At Community Health and Dental Care, we are committed to a safe and clean environment as the COVID-19 pandemic continues. Locations have been triple-cleaned, all staff are wearing masks, and seating in lobby and waiting rooms are socially distant.

Octodent equipment have been installed in our dental facilities, and patients are being scheduled to allow for appropriate levels of social distancing in our facility. COVID-19 pre-screening includes temperature checks of all patients upon arrival for their scheduled appointment. All patients and staff are required to wear masks.

We want to send a special thank you to Transcend Facility Management Company, LLC for all they do to ensure our CHDC facilities are clean and safe. Check out this cool video featuring our main office at the Coventry Mall.
