Community Health and Dental Care, located at 11 Robinson Street, Pottstown, hosted their first ever Montgomery County Head Start Dental program on Thursday, October 20th. The program is designed to educate pre-school children about the importance of dental care. 18 children in attendance were provided dental exams and cleanings. As the children waited for their appointments, they were given coloring pages to display on the “Head Start Artists” wall. In addition, they enjoyed listening to stories being read to them by CHDC staff. To end their visit, each child received a take-home dental care kit which consisted of a toothbrush, toothpaste and dental floss. Community Health and Dental Care looks forward to hosting many more outreach events that will benefit everyone in our community.
