More than 13,000 women in the United States are diagnosed with cervical cancer each year, however, it is one of the most preventable types of cancer. About 99% of cervical cancers are caused by Human Papillomavirus (HPV). The key to prevention involves regular screenings, HPV vaccination, and early treatment.
