Picnic in the Park with TCHC

Pottstown Riverfront Park

Tuesday, September 21 from 12:00PM - 1:30PM

TriCounty Health Council is hosting a Picnic in the Park at Riverfront Park in Pottstown on Tuesday, September 21st from 12pm-1:30pm. Come join Pottstown Hospital, Creative Health Services, and Community Health and Dental Care for a free lunch and learn about substance use prevention, treatment, and local resources. Guest Speaker, Andre Reid, will share his lived experience and dive into substance use disorder and treatment. Andre and his outstanding work were recently featured on the cover of the Philadelphia Metro.

This event is completely free and open to all community members and community partners. We hope to see you there!

Get healthy, stay healthy, and avoid diabetes!

Join Pottstown Medical Specialists, Inc. program proven to prevent or delay Type 2 diabetes (the most common form) in many people. A trained lifestyle coach works with you, showing how you can take charge of your health with tasty meals, reduced stress, and regular exercise.

This event will be held online and you can attend virtually via your computer, tablet, or smartphone.

We will have members of our Case Management Team standing by to offer information about insurance options for you. Information about Pennie and The American Rescue Plan will be available as well.
Registration is not required for this event and you do not need to be a CHDC patient to attend. If you need help navigating health insurance, our Case Management Team can help! This event is open to everyone, regardless of whether you are a CHDC patient.

Join the TriCounty Health Council on July 22nd for a conversation on getting kids back to school safely.  Expert panelists, including our very own Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Sarah Spengler, will discuss the role of routine vaccinations, COVID-19 vaccines, and the steps we can all take to protect one another and ensure that in-person learning is safe and accessible for kids across our local school districts.
